"Yes, it does appear that you can create multi-detail drawings now, but it seems to be limited to internal parts.  It doesn't work with external parts from my experience.  Maybe that makes sense though."

I thought I remember reading that because SpaceClaim uses XML based files, not only will future versions of spaceclaim be able to read stuff created in older versions of spaceclaim, older versions of SpaceClaim will be able to read stuff created by new versions.  The idea being that the old version trying to read the new stuff would simply ignore the parts it didn't understand.  Yesterday, I upgraded to 2009+ from 2009 sp1.  (I hope I understand these version naming conventions; is 2009+ like…See More
