"Hi Dennis,   jepp, or maybe a bad one, if you need to solve it ASAP. ;O) It appears SC can deal nicely with unwrapping bent sheets as long as no cutouts are made in the bent portion alone. I have experimented with bending (E.G. as per tutorial)…"

"That is a good one, one that even BIM software struggles with. I think sheet metal is going to be your best bet, I was able to unfold this shape.  I think your best bet would be to project the video display onto the sheet metal part then unfold…"

Unwrapping a circular room in Spaceclaim?

Hi guys, today, I have a task I cannot find an elegant solution for, at least not in Spaceclaim. I have a model of a circular exhibition room, with showcases and oddly shaped video displays all around the circular outer wall, and the graphics team does now need an unwrapped visualization of the wall to create fitting graphic and media artwork. Of course I tried making the wall one big sheet metal part and unwrap that, but it did not work out. Hi, does any of you Spaceclaim users have a constrained mannequin to be used for basic ergonomical demos? It should be possible to make a 'hinged' one using the tools given, but I have not yet had the time to do so. Best,MartinSee More
